Thanks to Campus Baptist Church group!

Monday morning the 26th, 14 very tired members of Campus Baptist church boarded a plane to return to the USA. They were the first group that we have had the joy to minister with in Japan and I must say they raised the bar very high! Singing 12 times in 10 days in: 3 nursing homes, 2 church services, 2 english class Christmas parties, 1 coffee house, 1 church Christmas party, 1 hotel lobby, 1 800 seat concert hall, and last but not least - the world's largest indoor water park! They sang right after "Surfing Santa" road a nice sized wave to the beach. I guess you had to be there...
All told more than 1000 people heard the message of Christmas proclaimed in song and testimony. Although Christmas is recognized in Japan it is not truly celebrated and most people don't know the true meaning of Christmas. What an opportunity!
During the week I had the opportunity to share with the group our ideas for a summer program we are calling G.R.I.T. --God's Recruits In Training. We were excited to hear that 2 college students are seriously thinking about returning next summer and a third is willing if God leads in that direction. I can't wait to see what God does next year!
