Christmas is coming!!!

Christmas is only two weeks away and preparations are only beginning! Ahhhhh!!!
Our choir at church is in trouble. I asked who could sing parts... you should have seen the deer in headlights look from the choir! WooHooo this is going to be fun!

Needless to say we are not singing in parts with a potential of only three practice sessions before singing at the first local nursing home. But, we will all have fun and have a chance to share the real meaning of Christmas with quite a few people during our 3-4 "concerts."

I was talking to Spencer, an English teacher on the island earlier this week. He asked his classes what Christmas is all about. He heard, " It's Santa Clauses birthday." or "It's the day Santa Claus died." and even "Merry is kind of like American, so it must mean American Christmas!"

You have all these answers coming from people, but I stopped by where some guys where playing pool yesterday and they radio was playing "The First Noel."
