Jet Lag
I just returned home from a 3 week recruiting trip to the US. It is hard to get back into the swing of study and work while I am tired all day!
Chris Sadowitz and I went to Baptist Bible College in PA, Davis College in NY, Moody in Chicago, and Tennesse Temple in TN during a whirlwind trip. There was much more interest in a program like GRIT than I had imagined there would be. I will now begin the process of sorting through applications and preparing for 8 weeks and about 20 people this summer. Cool.
However, I won't start today.
ZZzzzzzz.....
I am going over the final details for my trip next week. I am already dreading the long flight over. It doesn't help that we will be starting with a Missions Conference at BBC the day we arrive. No time for Jet Lag! We start at BBC and go to Davis College, Tennessse Temple and Moody. I am praying that I will find a few students interested in the GRIT program. Even better would be to talk to people looking into full-time ministry in Japan!
After a few days of warmth, it has turned cold again in Nagashima. Maybe this will prepare me for the cold in New York. I'm looking forward to talking to all of the students but I am not going to enjoy being away from my family for so long. Cameron is learning new words every day now. HE repeats almost everything Chloe says and trust me, she says alot!
