ME Conference ends...
It has been a good week, visiting with other missionaries and national pastors from around the world. Chloe and Cameron stayed with Grandma and Grandpa so we had things a little easier with only Melodie to cart around with us. She enjoyed her time with all the other babies in the nursery, lots going on in there all the time!
We head out tomorrow, flying to WI and then driving to IA on Saturday. Once we make it to Story City Sunday night, we actually have a week to recover and catch up (and finish preparing) for the VBS and week at camp to follow. Just a few more weeks until our crazy summer schedule is over!
ME Conference - Harrisburg, PA
Well, the summer has been a busy time, but we made it to Harrisburg for the Missionary Enrichment Conference and our board interviews with ABWE. We should be able to rest a little during the next 10 days. Rest meaning we have time to prepare for the upcoming VBS and camp to close the summer - two of the most challenging weeks for me!
We left Chloe and Cameron in Wisconsin with Susan's parents. This is the longest they have been away from us! Melodie is here with us and really didn't enjoy the flight here. She will be stuck in a nursery for quite a while next week so she probably won't enjoy that either!
We are looking forward to renewing some old acquaintances and making some new ones. The jury is still out on whether or not the whole trip will be worth it or not. We will know next week!
