Note from Susan

Here we are, a few days before our big summer! We're getting down to the last minute details like running off copies, thinking through what needs to be packed and taken to camp, finishing up recipes, getting vehicles sorted out, etc.
It's easy to become overwhelmed, but it's just as easy to look up to God and say, "I know You're there; You're powerful and purposeful. Help!" How do people live without God? I would be a wreck without Him!
Keiko "moved in" today, meaning she'll live here till we all go to camp next week. I think she's excited and a little nervous about taking part in GRIT this year. I'm sure she'll enjoy herself...if she can get past the exercise requirements!
Melodie (who will be 2 in July) is in the throes of "terrible twos." She becomes angry very easily, throwing things around, including herself. It's as if she's changed personality overnight. We're all patiently enduring....
The other two kids are very energetic and healthy, for which we're thankful. (Well, especially the healthy part!)

Good to hear about your family and life!! Reading about Melodie makes me wonder... Can a grown woman be in her terrible twos??? Just wondering. -- Tammi M (Moorhead, IA)
