GRIT 2009 preparations are underway!
With 5 months to go, GRIT 2009 preparation will officially kick off in the next week. As of this writing 4 people have applied and 2 others are considering applications. We are still praying for 4-6 more students to round out the GRIT team. There are a lot of exciting options being considered for the summer including various events in downtown Kumamoto. We are also researching volunteeer opportunities in Kikuyo and Kugino. We have secured a location to stay about 30 minutes outside of Kikuyo for a great price (because it is OLD...) so we look forward to regular trips to Kikuyo and Kumamoto for outreach.There is still a lot of work to do to get everything ready but we are already anticipating great things as God works in and through us this summer!
