There have been a lot of changes for us since GRIT ended this year. We have added several new team members, two interns - Andrew Murray from IA and Jacob Thress from TN are helping us make contacts as they learn to be better disciples and disciple-makers. Sue Hahn, a 30 year veteran missionary, arrived in July and is trying to keep the rest of us straight. Susan's sister, Merilee Strutz also joined us this summer, she is teaching at an English center and helping Susan with the home schooling.

We are enjoying a larger yard and are putting it to good use, having hosted 4 BBQ's in six weeks! Over 60 people came through our yard enjoying brats and American BBQ sauce. The largest group was made up of the motorcyclist Norman has met this year. They included riding instructors from the licensing center, custom bike shop owners and various mechanics as well as just people who love to ride.

We are planning to begin a Bible study with 2 young men in the middle of November, continuing for 4-6 weeks. These are the kind of men who need to accept Christ and commit to following Him if the church in Japan is to have a future. Pray for more workers!

On our regular team prayer and study times on Wednesday nights we are currently studying the place of mentoring in disciple-making and praying for all of the new contacts God is bringing us. If you would like a copy of our prayer sheet, you can download it here.PRAYER LIST
